HowManyDays.app is a collection of free online date and time calculators. It started with one simple idea: answering "how many days until…?" and "how many days between…?" should be instant, accurate, and free — without sign-ups, without app downloads, and without your dates leaving your device.
What the site does
The site offers 18 date & time tools in four groups:
- Countdowns — days until Christmas, New Year, Summer, Black Friday, and Halloween, plus a flexible Days Until Date countdown and a full Countdown Timer.
- Date math — Days Between Dates, Weeks Between Dates, Hours & Minutes Difference, and a Workdays Counter that skips weekends.
- Age tools — age from birth year and your exact age in days and weeks.
- Extras — leap year checker, day-of-the-week finder, timezone converter, Chinese zodiac sign, and moon phase calculator.
Every tool is mobile-friendly, has a dark mode, and is designed to give you the answer in one click.
Why it exists
Most date calculators are buried inside large portal sites, surrounded by ads, or require you to sign up or install an app. HowManyDays.app exists to do the opposite: a focused, ad-light, fast set of tools that respect your privacy. Because every calculation runs entirely in your browser, nothing you enter is ever sent to, stored on, or logged by a server.
Who is behind it
HowManyDays.app is built and maintained by Aren Breur, an IT professional with more than 30 years of experience working with technology. The site is part of a small network of independent utility and reference sites, all built with the same principles: fast, accurate, and privacy-friendly.
Editorial standards
All date, time, and calendar calculations on HowManyDays.app are verified against well-known reference dates and leap-year rules, and every tool is tested in current browsers on both desktop and mobile. The math runs entirely in JavaScript, so results are immediate and identical regardless of device. When a tool relies on a calendar convention (for example, how "workdays" are counted or how a leap year is defined), the rule is stated on that tool's page so you always know exactly what you are getting.
We keep the site free of misleading claims, never invent data, and correct errors promptly. If you believe a tool gives an incorrect result, tell us via the Contact page — include the dates you entered and the result you expected, and we will verify and fix it.
How the site is supported
